Property Save components

Property Save is set of non visual components which allows you to centralize and automatize saving and restoring of windows position, properties of visual or non visual components and any other user defined values.

This is perfect for those who want to use the same set-up every time, but who find themselves wasting valuable minutes sorting out the dimensions and layout of the program and its windows. So whether you're used to the customisability of your browser when you're playing www.PARTYPOKER.cz or the column set-up in a Word template, this package is definitely for you.

All settings are stored in INI file. Its name can be set up at runtime, so it's very easy to use this package in multi user application, when each user use the same program but with his own INI file and therefore with his own configuration.

Property Save components provide storing of settings of forms and standard components (TEdit, TMemo, TListBox, TComboBox, TRadioButton, TRadioGroup, TCheckBox, TMenuItem) without line of code.

For other values you can use events OnReadProperties and OnSaveProperties, use already created descendant components or create very easily your own component providing storing of any type of information.

Contains:

• TPropSaveFile - interface components between INI file and application
• TPropSaveMain - main components providing all functions
• TGridsPropSave, TDBGridPropsSave ...- descendant components for Grids, DBGrids etc.

How to use this components? It's very easy:

• place TPropSaveFile to main form or data form of application
• place TPropSaveMain to each form which properties should be stored and set up its properties (set up link to PropSaveFile and in property editor select components which should be stored)
• eventually place another descendant components (e.g. TDBGridPropsSave) to save properties of non standard components
